Okay so lets imagine, you get your plane ticket to New York, youre all ready to go - for Christmas you get this wonderful new t-shirt so you wear it on the plane. You get to the New York airport and suddenly you find yourself in jail, why? I'd say for wearing the most offensive t-shirt possible.. what are they trying to say here? McDonalds is responsible for the crashing of the twin towers?if you look closely you can see my reflection..

... Got a little carried away with the hair today... I call it *drumroll* 'emo-Paul'What do u guys think? Post comments 2 let me know..
the problem with this kinda haircut is it only works if your hair stays loaded with product, and if u want it to stay in all day youre goin to need some hardcore stuff like beezwax or somthing.. the side-brushed hair doesnt work when your hair goes all fluffly - like mine does after a while..

So Today I decided to kill *cough* i mean dye my jeans.. I had some expert advice from Cindy which was good =)
So after the jeans I decided to throw in another pair of pants that had faded and the tshirt i was wearing.. It was really faded so I didnt really care either way, but the tshirt came out looking awesome! (as seen in the posing pic above).. The jeans seemed to turn out a bit more 'bluer' then I'd hoped - I was hoping for more black then anything else, because plain blue is a bit too 'neat looking' .. perhaps ill throw some spraypaint on them or somthing after trying them out to see how they look .. heh. Yesterday I went to a boxing day party, I brought along a swing cd and managed to get some of the crew dancing, good times! =) although I dont have any photos of that unfortunately .. next time.

With all this top quality clothing around it is soo hard to choose what to buy! do I go for the multi-pastel-coloured-ultra-trendy shirt on the right or the more subtle lime green with pink striped polo underneath?I think these are official 'polo' shirts.. if this is the kind of rubbish they are pumping out then I'm glad I dont own any authentic 'polo' gear.. Looks like they are exclusively designed for the "aged 40+ fashon victims". oh and thats my little finger pointing up by the way.. not the middle one!

The yellow sign on the right hand side of the picture says "Remember" in red writing up the top.. thats all it says on the whole sign and I like it that way =)it would be good for a graphiti artist to write something like;
"Eggs, Milk, Cheese "
or perhaps;
"Your Name"
"Your Phone Number"
"where you live"
"we are watching you"
or even
"we build signs for a reason"
heh =)

Along the same lines as stencil art, but a bit different -
Another cool thing I found recently on the web is http://thebubbleproject.com/ .. basically this guy made up these speech bubble stickers and pasted them on billboards and advertising, leaving them blank for passers by to fill in.. some of the things people have written on them are quite smart, like this one! " The exibit is over, why are we still here, Pablo?"
Stencil art... it seems like its been getting more and more popular recently and I really dig this kind of artform, especially when its in a dodgey looking area like in this picture, its like improving the environment.. Its kinda like even though weve taken away the animals and taken away the forest and developed a concrete jungle (like in this pic) memories of them come back through stencil art like this and thats cool =)
This is the band from the Mustang bar last night, the guy in the middle with the trumpet is also the singer, his name is "Adam Hall", the guy to the right of him is "Tim" The band is called "Adam hall and the Velvet Playboys" and they play every friday night from 7 - 9:30pm to the swing dancer's delight. I see these guys nearly every friday, they make a good band! =)

I saw these buggies today, they come with a 650cc daihatsu charade engine and would be sweet to drive.. shame about the $10k price tag and the lack of places to drive nearby...there is a couple of spots but not enough, would be cool to rent something like this, because even if you owned one its unlikely you'd take it out more then once a week..
So this is a good example of the kind of semi-random things I see every once in a while, the other day whilst going for a jog around the block in a quiet street in my neighbourhood I saw this full sized sea-container dumped on the front lawn of this house.. The container is gone now (lasted for less then a week) I guess they were probably moving overseas or somthing.. never the less, you dont see a huge sea-containers dumped on peoples front lawns around here very often..
...So I've got this idea to take and post one picture per day (usually from my mobile phone).. I started this blog way back in '03 but havent really done anything with it till now.. keep checking back every few days, I'll try and take pictures of strange/exciting things that happen in my life.. this picture was taken with my good digital camera as opposed to my camera phone so the quality is alot higher.. When getting photos taken I like to look off into the distance, usually if I look straight into the camera and do the usual fake smile, it ends up looking wack.
