I went back to the scene of the accident on Friday to check out the condition of the fences around the area..(for liability purposes)

It was pretty spun-out driving there... I drove back the opposite way but I had a really strong idea of where the scene was, and I instinctively knew when I was just around the corner from the spot.

We were coming from around the corner that my car is parked on..

I spotted a sheep on one side of the road, started slowing and moving away from it. the sheep walked out from the side of the road towards the middle, then we hit it.. the bike came to a stop where that brown oil patch is, we landed a few meters ahead. Posted by Picasa

I found some scraping in the road surface about the size of half a compact disc.. they are positioned just before the orange markings the cops laid down.. Posted by Picasa

The cops were kind enough to mark out my travellings on the road - see the orange mark - this is around the start of where I started skidding I think.. The cops worked out i couldnt have been doing any more then 75km/per hour Posted by Picasa

This is where my bike came to a stop and bled its oil out.. Posted by Picasa

Crashed my motorbike!

Thank God there was no permanent damage to me or my passenger.
We were just cruising down chittering valley road, came around a corner and a sheep is standing on the side of the road... I start to slow and the sheep moves into the middle of the road, not giving me time to move or stop.. bike goes into sheep, I can't believe whats happening, is this a dream? is this real? this has to be a dream. seems very surreal, we hit the road.. seconds later I stand up, reality kicks in, she is lying there on the road, I'm hoping to God she is ok.. I speak, she speaks back, but doesnt want to move, I'm feeling overwhelmed with concern for her, we pray, signal a car down, call ambulance, ambulance arrives, police arrives, speak to police, get to hospital, she gets checked out, I get checked out, we are both okay! no broken bones! thankyou Lord. All is ok. My friend is more hurt than me, wish it was the other way around, but shes going to be okay. thats good. I still feel concern for her, shes doing well, shes stayed strong & positive and kept her sense of humor the whole time. well done m8, youre a champ =)

My friend bill picked up my bike for me, that is it sitting on a trailer today. trashed. could be a write off, I wonder if the farmer is liable for his sheep straying onto the middle of a road. The sheep ended up dead off the left side of the road, my bike lying on its side, near the right side of the road leaking oil.

Post comments, let me know what you guys think..

do you think these ones look funky enough? or should i stick to the slightly less comfortable ones ..? Posted by Picasa

well.. this is about as 'Okka' as you can get for an Australian female band..I saw this poster on a pub down in margaret river .. for you non-australians "okka" is like "aussie" but in a redneck kinda way.. "flaming" is kinda like "bloddy" or "darn" or "annoying" and "sheilas" means "girls"

so directly translated for non-australians.. "flaming sheilas" would mean "Annoying Girls". Nice name for a band? Posted by Picasa

For some reason, my camera-phone decides to 'get a little creative' on some of the shots I take.. notice the swirly vibes in the trees.. Posted by Picasa

The other week I had a swing-dance performance with my friend Cindy as part of this "national youth week" thing in Northbridge.. So I was dressed up in black and white with slacks and all.. thats a checkered tie in case you cant see it..created by said Cindy.. Thanks matey! =) Posted by Picasa

I came across this the other day while servicing a computer... the simplicity of the humor is classic! =) Posted by Picasa
