Flashback to 2004, Italy. (Livorno?)

The red jacket and brown cordroy pants you can see are my brothers'.

whilst sitting here on this street, I experienced the best panini sandwich of my life. Love the Italian cusine. it was only bread with ham and cheese, but it was toasted perfectly with authentic italian ingredients.

See those boxes on the right hand side?... a lady put them there while we were sitting down, soon enough those boxes and the plastic inside them were blowing all over the road.. She didnt seem to care much for bins or proper rubbish disposal. This confused me and my brother, as its a very windy city, right near the ocean, surely all that rubbish is going to end up in there eventually, what a waste.

Thinking back.. I can still remember my excitement and anticipation I got from living in another country.. not having a job to go back to, just travelling around with my bro. I had England to look forward to as the next destination after italy - but that was hardly on my mind. each new day was a new adventure, full of discovery of new and unexpected things, new people and the company of my brother.. ahh.. memories. sweet memories Posted by Picasa

China Controlling the weather
The Chinese government hopes to prevent scenes like this during the 2008 Olympic Games I saw this interesting story today about how the government in china has been artificially modifying the weather.. interesting/scary.. I'm glad that perth weather is 100% organic! =)

Names of Beachvolleyball teams.. I wasnt sure how this one would turn out, as i was taking the photo on my mobile phone, but looks like most of them are somewhat readable.

its really amazing the amount of different crazy names people have throught up for their indoor beach volleyball teams down in bunbury. inspirational even? Posted by Picasa

Bowling Shoes!... went bowling the other night and was admiring these sweet kicks.. so much so that I asked if they sold the second hand ones.. unfortunately they said no, and apparently they get pretty stinky.. but yeah I think these would make great swing-dancing shoes..

Nothing spells out class more then the word "RENTAL" written across the side - its a nice touch - I think it actually makes the shoes MORE desirable to steal! =)

These aint no ordinary shoes, there rentals, baby! Posted by Picasa

Yeah!! Free stickers from Mr Policeman!

I stopped my lancer on the side of the road to get a can of water, came back 5 mins later and had this bad-boy sticker slapped on the back window.

Guess those cottesloe residents didnt realise that having the bonnet up usually indicates youve got car problems.

What if I actually just decided to park my car there to visit a friend? or take the dog for a walk? ah well.. I guess that means more free stickers for me!

One would hope the police would have more exiting work to do than this.

Free tyres!

I never realised how difficult it could be to get rid of a set of tyres. I had them sitting in the back shed at the mt hawthorn house, but the landlord wanted them removed.

I went to pick them up today but they were full 'o water.. ergh... dont really want to carry that around in my car..

the skip bins on the street were tempting, but they say 'no tyres'

I never realised how difficult it could be to get rid of these bad-boys.. they might be a good spare set for someone's 4x4.. id prob keep em myself if i had room.. Posted by Picasa
