Flashback to 2004, Italy. (Livorno?)The red jacket and brown cordroy pants you can see are my brothers'.
whilst sitting here on this street, I experienced the best panini sandwich of my life. Love the Italian cusine. it was only bread with ham and cheese, but it was toasted perfectly with authentic italian ingredients.
See those boxes on the right hand side?... a lady put them there while we were sitting down, soon enough those boxes and the plastic inside them were blowing all over the road.. She didnt seem to care much for bins or proper rubbish disposal. This confused me and my brother, as its a very windy city, right near the ocean, surely all that rubbish is going to end up in there eventually, what a waste.
Thinking back.. I can still remember my excitement and anticipation I got from living in another country.. not having a job to go back to, just travelling around with my bro. I had England to look forward to as the next destination after italy - but that was hardly on my mind. each new day was a new adventure, full of discovery of new and unexpected things, new people and the company of my brother.. ahh.. memories. sweet memories
